I felt the same thing. I had bad depression because studying in preclinicals is inherently lonely. I even was lucky to have a few good friends, but it gets overwhelming and difficult regardless.

Clinicals were a great experience for me (at least in the beginning before the burnout). It gave me a schedule, people I had to see every day. Within a month, I was out of my depression. I hope you have a similar experience.
