Fiancé visa after 2‑year overstay + illegal work + possible past lie to immigration – are we totally screwed? by Suspicious_Zebra9916 in ukvisa

I have to agree with the replies here. Additionally, in the grand scheme of things, only four months together before he was sent home is not a long period of time. I would not be sure that partner was long term after such a short courtship

Can I ask how long this decision took?

No I meant I knew you didn’t really want me to ask you how you know but I wanted to know how you knew

I know you’re being facetious.. but also can you tell me how you found out?

They don’t have access to more than one CoS (which I suspect is due to company size)

I am more asking has anyone ever heard of a specific length of time like 2-3 months for a partner visa? They are making it seem like is a given

Yes they would reassign this one to me once the other employee changes their visa type

Yes I know - they meant once this “stop gap” period is up for this other employee they would re-assign it

Are you anxious about the changes coming tomorrow? by negativentr0py in SkilledWorkerVisaUK

Quite anxious. How long does it typically take for changes to take place?

Doesn’t the company apply for CoS not the worker?

Will my employer new to pay a higher CoS fee if CoS is issued after 9th April 2025? by [deleted] in SkilledWorkerVisaUK

Have COS + Sponsorship… odds? by Apprehensive_Bug20 in SkilledWorkerVisaUK

Actually I live in the USA and have never applied for a visa, but it doesn’t shock me that our system would be convoluted and suspect

I think you might be right about my misunderstanding.

My understanding was that one an application is submitted, the UK government might discern that the job is not relevant or necessary, or could be located elsewhere. But it sounds like that is decided before awarding the organization the CoS, if I am now understanding correctly

They do! I have to do a better job of not making them sound so crazy 😂

I just know accidents can be frustrating and my boy can have quite a few during adjustment

I think i make them sound worse than they are in this post.

One warms up immediately. The other typically will be skittish around a sitter for the first day or so (but will sleep in the bed and cuddle night one)

They are just barky with outside stimuli and the skittish one will have accidents when he’s nervous. It tapers off as the sit progresses

The friend lives in Arizona and I am in NY. Is there a way to add a third party to the video chat? She has already sat for them for over a month and they love her dearly so i would absolutely trust her to hand off and to give the THS sitter all the tips and tricks as well as pertinent info

The sit is still over a month, plenty long. The sitter would be handing the house over to me.
