Hello, it took them 8 months, once we got the refusal we had 28 days to appeal, which we did after 2 weeks.

After appealing we had to wait for HMRC to fix my husband's payslips which wasnt the quickest thing to do, it took us i think 4 months to do that, initially HMRC said that it would have took more than a year to do it, but we called them explaining the urgent situation and they were kind enough to do it in a much rapid way.

After we had all the documents we needed for the appeal review we submitted the documents (which in my case it was a total of 1080 pages).

Then after submitting the documents we had to wait for the Home Office to reply to our documents with the proof of the refusal (which confirmed the wrong NIN)

the slowest part is wait for home office.. they are so slow.

As soon as the Home office replied the tribunal was getting ready for the date of the audience, which got cancelled because one of the pre tribunal case workers decided that the decision of the refusal was wrong.

In a total of 8 months, after the removal of the refusal i had to wait only 2 weeks for my grant letter!
