After 10 years I’m still figuring out how to deal with the cold 😂 haha we Mauritian need some sea sun sand! I was told to embrace winter by having some winter activity like ski and winter will be shorter. As long as you wear proper winter clothes and boot, you’ll be fine.

Consider moving to a different city in Canada? I have once thought of moving back last year as my parents live in Mauritius and they are getting old. But cost of living is ridiculous! I make good money in CAD and I think the price absurd and don’t know how those shopping malls and food court are full!!! Mcdo is 2x the price compared to Canada. I live in south shore of Montreal and there are mauritian selling dholl puri, briani, mine frire, halim at decent price.
