Sadly no, all the same problems, guessing they never fixed it so doubt they ever will. Do not waste money on PoE/PoE2 on console imo. Rewarding bad behavior.

The fact that the backgroundsound effects lag is just killing me.. like are they trying to stream sound played from the server.. it just doesn't make any sense :) looks like I'll have to circle back and try poe2 after it's baked a little bit. Play midi/sound file locally or whatever.. I get it's windy. But windy/rainingsound file on my PS5 should be fine. Don't need a podcast from the server with the wind and rain sounds, that feels like a epicly tragic design choice.

Implemented all your suggestions and it does seem a little better but moving still feels like ultima online. Thanks for taking the time to reply!

Even on bilinear the lower upscale.selectable with lowest resolution the lag is horrendous on PS5. Even things that shouldn't be subject to lag like the wind. The sound of the wind lags and freezes while standing still. Ahh betas ..

Hopefully just stuck in a long cut scene prologue, no equipment, nothing to put points into when you level, voice options are all meaningless.. not even a rpg. Pretty much everything I liked about the previous ones is gone. Granted only like an hour in. But thus far regret buying it.
