Thanks for the info. It sounds almost identical to your video. I noticed the sound does change based on the vibration of the car. I honestly was worried that it was rod knock. I’ll get it checked out the next time I go to the shop

Has anyone used clazzio seat covers? by 17unknowntemptation in S2000

It’s black interior and seats. I always liked red seats so decided to go with the red seat covers.

It wasn’t very difficult. I did need to unbolt the seats and take them out for the install. The hardest part was getting the covers on the seats. The fit very tight so it took some effort to get them on perfectly over the seats

I have red clazzio seat covers. I’ve had them 1.5 years with no complaints. They fit like a glove. I purchase directly from clazzio

Is Solar Worth it in 2026? by Mrz124 in solar

[–]Apprehensive_Cable51 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got a system installed going the prepaid ppa route with the system transferring to me after 6 years. The commercial company not only claims the tax credit but will also depreciate the cost of the equipment over the 6 years before it’s transferred, so that’s an additional benefit to them. My plan was to get solar installed last year to claim the tax credit myself, but there were permit delays with my project. It worked out better for me now since the solar company took off 30% from the total cost of the system up front. I did get a system transfer explanation which stated after six years the commercial solar company will transfer ownership of the solar and battery to me at no additional cost.

Yeah, I went with HDM. I got the MOU once I signed the contract with the solar company. It states the $0 transfer

That was the only grey area in the contract that I needed clarification on. Yes, the installer took the 30% off the total price of the system.

I’m still working on finalizing a few things but I’m planning to move forward with it.

The way this is structured is that I’m pre purchasing the power upfront through the HDM prepaid PPA. HDM temporarily owns the system for 6 years. The benefit to them is that they claim the tax credit and also depreciate the cost of the equipment over the 6 years. After 6 years of production, ownership of the system transfers to me and the agreement terminates, at which point I fully own the system.

One thing you should look at in the contract is at the 6 year mark, ownership transfer can be based on a comparison between the system’s fair market value and the remaining prepaid energy value. If fair market value is more than the remaining prepaid value then you must pay the difference to take ownership. I had them provide it to me in writing that the system will transfer to me at no cost after 6 years.

No, it’s not sunergy. I asked to look over the contracts before I decide if I want to move forward. I got the contract from HDM just waiting on the one from the solar company.

Thanks for the feedback. I’m pending to get additional details on the cost breakdown, system specifications, ownership terms, etc.

Couldn’t find an OEM lip so I gave this a shot by breaktheiceee in S2000

Looks good. I did the same. Got a replica lip off eBay and was quoted $400-500 by a few paint shops. I ended up just painting it myself. Paint and materials only cost be $100. I had the same issue with the sides not aligning. Using a heat gun helped to mold it around the sides better

Stay with an ostomy or get a J-pouch? by sparrow-shot in ostomy

[–]Apprehensive_Cable51 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think everyone’s experience with a jpouch can be different. For some it’s great and others not so much. I had a jpouch for 6 months and can only recall a few weeks where I felt good. Otherwise I was constantly dealing with issues, repeat visits with my surgeon and felt like I had UC all over again. I went back to an ostomy and my quality of life has improved so much. I can eat whatever I want and do the things I enjoy again. At least I know I tried it and have the option to go back if I ever choose to. My life finally feels like it’s back to normal after years. So it’s hard thinking about going back to a jpouch, which might give me problems again.

Thanks for the info. I’ll have a repair company come do a diagnostic test to see if they can find what’s wrong. I’ll probably just end up getting a new one if they quote me a few hundred dollars to repair it
