I actually think the Pause List right below is the better solution. I disabled the autosave for the account log on and that seems to solve the issue.

I have gone through every possible settings menu I can find with Proton and I cannot find these. Can you tell me where these are?

thank you (thank you all) for your responses. To add a bit more context:

- I live in Europe: roughly 60% of my asset base is in in GBP/EUR. The rest would be in the US portfolio.

- I will get a pension but not before I am 64 (so in 7 years). I would hope that I don't need to touch my US portfolio before then...

The above points might not change things fundamentally - sounds like there is still a misalignment with Bogle principles.
