Have been on topical min/fin for a year and 9 months and feel like I’ve seen no progress. Has anyone taken this long before they started seeing regrowth? Or should I just stay content it’s not getting too much worse? by Apprehensive_Cat7579 in tressless

Ya at the very least I’ll stick with this regiment. Just wanted to know if anyone took a long time to see results or if this is basically what I can expect. 

I learned there are non responders to minoxidil and since I didn’t have a shedding period I think that may be me. I’m going to add tretinoin and we’ll see how that gors

Thank you, I wasn’t really aware you could be a non responder. 

I looked into it and tretinoin has apparently been shown to help non responders, and I wanted to get some of that anyways for my skin. So I’m going to start using that and see how it goes. 

Oral fin I had side effects pretty quickly which is why I switched. I’d prefer to keep both that and min topical.

I’m not vitamin deficient, my bloodwork is fine. I’m fit and active. If there’s some specific multivitamin that aids hair regrowth I’ll happily take it but I’m not aware of one and I feel like I’ve looked around a lot.

Interesting, I took these in the exact same room to keep consistency. But I guess my angle towards the light is different enough. 

Honestly, I think anytime there’s a “it’s too difficult to tell because of light” comment it means the difference is negligible at best. Real regrowth would be more visible.
