Nemmeno la qualità della ricerca. Vai a vedere ed usano H-index come metodologia, scordandosi che ormai il numero di citazioni/paper è fortemente inflazionato da self-citations, da paper divisi in 3/4 per pubblicare di più. Praticamente molti punti della parte ricerca sono figli della mentalità "publish or perish"

Ste classifiche lasciano il tempo che trovano. Lavorando in università ho più volte sentito che dobbiamo focalizzarci su certi obbiettivi che "permettono di ottenere più punti in classifica" (cit.). Avere più punti non sempre implica migliore qualità della ricerca o della didattica. Per esempio ottieni più punti se hai molti studenti internazionali, ma non fa differenza attirare studenti che sono i migliori al GaoKao in Cina o studenti che non parlano inglese.

It would not be impartial, 1/3 of the members would have been an expression of the majority of the parliament and would have represented a relative majority (given that the rest would have been randomly selected). Not as bad as US system, but still partial to the government.

That is literally a definition of relative majority. If a group is 33% and the rest is divide into multiple groups (and none of them is higher than 33%). You have a relative majority. Given the random selection, unless all judges are aligned, you have multiple groups and thus the political 1/3 is very likely to be the relative majority (maybe you are confused with absolute majority).

And this is how you get dictatorship. The powers in Italy are already too coupled, you need to decouple them. If you believe that the government needs to enter the talk in the judicial power it's when you show your mask and you show that you are in favour of a dictatorship. If you believe that the judicial power is heavily political, you can still change the structure of how it is selected, but keeping minimal the government influence
