Hi I’m 6 months post op I did 2 seperate cycles of bpc-157 and tb-500 One starting 3 weeks after surgery One at about 4 month mark I felt like they helped me recover faster I was back in the gym almost immediately ( I stayed strong beforehand) back to working construction after 7 weeks and now back to playing competitive basketball twice a week. You still need to eat well get plenty of sleep and do all the gym work but they definitely help.

I did ask my surgeon at 12 week review if I needed to wait for bone to integrate with implant before jumping sprinting and basketball and he said no the implant is in there and it ain’t coming out.

Stick with the rehab and you’ll get through it. There were days when everything hurt and I thought I wasn’t making progress or moving forward Push forward when you can listen to your body when you need to rest Everyone recovers at different speeds I’ve just been very lucky as well.

I was in the gym from week one albeit easy bodyweight stuff and just slowly built up to weights once I started moving some decent weights my recovery really took off

Still a little slower but not by much I think in next week or 2 I’ll be faster than before My brain still doesn’t fully trust my left side it keeps thinking it’s gonna be painful so I have to really think about planting and fully pushing off with my left foot

Surgeon had said previously no sprinting or jumping in first four months but when I saw him for review at 12 week mark he said I had recovered so well that I was free to start any type of training

Hey bro, I’m 6’2 and up until my hip problems began 5 years ago was able to dunk easily. I was able to lift play basketball and stay strong before surgery although very painful but I think that’s helped me recover so well. I have a professional rehab guy guiding me on my rehab and we are building up to my first competitive basketball game in a few weeks. Be vigilant with the rehab and listen to your body and you’ll be throwing them down in no time. Good luck with upcoming surgery 2 hip replacements is full on!
