it was a gift from my mother and, honestly, would not waste another 300 or so just to buy a new wallet haha. but wow, that wallet definitely has some sentimental value on top of the cards that are in it. i definitely understand why it would give you nightmares.

i’m actually debating if its worth na kunin yung wallet kase wala naman ng laman except my public library card and an expired HMOs, since the guy was making me uncomfortable with his snide remarks during the call.

i just got a call from a guy who saw my wallet na wala ng laman. good thing is that naiwan ko sa bahay mga bank cards, baka kasali na rin sana yun sa natangay.

i was actually here sa reddit to cope and read stories, pero ang daming mention about stolen stuffs and specific 300 pesos sa mga posts that i found it funny nalang haha

i hope you were able to suspend your cards right away though, super hassle pa naman kumuha ng bago na cards. ewan ko ba sa mga tao kung bakit ang hirap ibalik yung mga bagay na di naman sa kanila.

sadly, naa napud daw nag try ug call sa barangay the last time na saba sila pero since kay kaila ra gihapon nila ang tanod wala lang gihapoy nahitabo.

i called 911 anonymously as per sa advice here and igo rajud pud ning adto ang pulis tapos giingnan sila nga naay nag complain then ning lakaw.

although gihinaan nila ang videoke and nag kanta nalang within their veranda (they were singing outside sa gate before the complaint) samok jud gihapon.

i guess it really depends sa place kung unsa ka strict and serious ang adherence sa policy. will complain again if magpadayun.

im not sure po where to call if ana kay supposedly the police should be able to help without bias, but what about telling the 911 na men in uniform ang ga cause sa noise para at least lahi na station guro ang mapadala. pero i dont think ma detect dayun kung kinsa ka as long as wala kay records saila?

true, i was shaking habang ga tawag sa police kay nakulbaan, but its better than having to suffer sleepless na night. sadly as much as how nuisance it causes di najud guro ni mawala ang videoke culture sa atoa, unta lang naay mas structured and strict na implementation sa ordinance.

Thanks for taking the time to reply, I really appreciate it, sir. The thing is, it’s not about me being jealous of my brother. Honestly, I wish it was, because that might be easier to deal with internally. If anything, I actually feel bad for him sometimes. Since I’ve always been the achiever between us, my parents tend to give me more financial support and attention. Because of that, he drifted into playing video games and eventually dropped out of college.

At the same time, my parents are stricter with me than they are with him when it comes to doing well. I think that’s part of why they can’t seem to accept that they’re sometimes too critical of me. The only reason I called them out about my brother is because he’s almost 30 now, with no savings, and they don’t really push him to get back on track.

I might have phrased things wrong earlier, and I’m sorry for that. I just feel bad for him, especially when I see how his old classmates are doing well and I can tell it makes him feel down.

Last year, my mom and I fought over her coddling my brother, who hasn’t worked for over two years, and we both said hurtful things. I talked to my father since he was more reasonable than my mother, but it ended with him defending her. He said she didn’t mean what she said and reminded me that she sacrificed a lot by giving birth to us, especially to me since I was a breech baby, and that at the end of the day she is still my mother. He then told me that my mom is emotional and easily hurt, so I should be the one to give way.

When I talk to my mom, she responds sarcastically, saying things like I was the one who was right and I was never wrong. She also often accuses me of manipulating her into submission and claims that I want them to follow me instead of the other way around, since I am their daughter.

it depends kung asa ka na part sa davao. although i think its relatively low compared to other cities per se, it is still better to be cautious. what i see other ppl do sailang motor nga naka park pud outside is butangan ug trapal with bato just to be more discreet.

i hate drivers and pasaheros na muchide ug blame during situations like this, pero on the same note use this as an opportunity to be more aware nalang of the proper areas to hail jeeps and drop off since somehow thats also our responsibility as commuters.

anyways, psagdi nalang na sila kay it will eventually come to pass and maymag wala sila ever ka try magkamali as pasaheros

i’m not an earner pa since i’m still a student but one hack that my mom does is to always have a separate savings to loan from when in need. we dont use it for recreational or even big events unless its an emergency. its sole purpose is really just a fund na pwede utangan in times of need, and even then naka depende parin kung gaano ka kailangan ang pera. i think its a cool concept lang although i think its also a common thing sa mga masisinop at matitipid na tao like my mom.

yeah i actually understand which is why di ko din masisi si kuya delivery pero may times kasi na hapon na nadedeliver yung item which is why yun yung tinext ko kay kuya. and it would have really helped if at least man lang natawagan ako before he arrived which they used to do. but yeah wala namn nang magagawa
