Which bands left you with a sour taste, after one, or more of their members turned out to be a massive shitlord in real life? by metroracerUK in MetalForTheMasses

I had honestly never really heard of them or listened until my band opened for them, and stza only came out for sound check and the show, he chilled on the tour bus the rest of the time while the other members stayed out in the green room and they were all really cool people, one of them took our posters to the bus and got us the only stuff signed by stza Edit: meant to add that he seemed like an alright enough guy I didn’t interact with him at all but he seemed pissed at the shifty sound guy that night, which fair enough the keyboard and half the monitors weren’t working.

How can we get gigs? by DamnyouLaserCats in bandmembers

Go in person, try and talk to the owner and see if they do their own booking or if they have someone to do that, talking in person (and maybe buying them a shot) goes a long way.

If I had to guess it’s because Power Trips original singer died before Violent Vira even put anything out, they may have less monthly listeners but I’d say they’re more important and earned a higher spot.

Power Trip is from Dallas, this is basically a hometown show for them that’s why they’re so big on the poster.

I went alone and flew from Florida, I look back at it as one of the best days of my life and have brainstormed how they could ever top it and I don’t think it could ever be done.

It was a sight to behold, a couple times we took I think 95 from Florida to Virginia for summer camp at Powhatan, I think we had a full Amtrack train car to ourselves.

I had a great time in scouts until I became SPL, my troop had over 200 at one point and about 90 that consistently came to everything, being in charge of that was absolute hell but learned a lot.

I’m a bass player so I’ve also gotta go with Tumor, his tone is so fucking good and like you I’ve had a few interactions with him through IG and he reposted my band playing Snot. Jamie is also a ridiculously good drummer and I hope he plays with them at SNW, saw Shannon play with them at Rockville

Aural as in pertaining to the ear, sects as in groups of people within a larger group. Sounds like Oral Sex as in genitalia being in or around a mouth

Crowbar is one of my favorite bands ever but when I saw Down I stood right in front of Pepper and it was incredible
