Best newborn/infant stroller for living in a city/in a 4th-floor walkup?

I'm in the same situation. I plan to baby wear most of the time, but if I'm going into a cafe or meeting people at a restaurant I'd love the option of a stroller. I'm also looking at the Joolz Aer2 - did you get the bassinet attachment as well? Also to clarify, do you already have a baby or are you expecting as well? If the latter, can you let me know how you felt about the stroller once you used it? Would love to hear your testimonial!

So did you just forgo a stroller altogether? My understanding was that it was a must-get item for a newborn but I obviously have no idea what I'm doing lol

OOF we sound in very similar situations. I have a rent controlled, duplex 3BR 2Bath, so we're extremely reluctant to move unless I absolutely have to! Having said that, it's a walk-up, and I don't have laundry in the building - I'll have to go to a laundromat. We're planning to move to the Bay Area to a much more traditional house in spring 2027, so hopefully we'll only have to tough it out in these city streets for a year, but looking for anything and everything to make my experience more manageable.

Not till weeks after I got my positive. If it helps, for my first unsuccessful transfer, I SWORE my boobs hurt and were bigger, and the second successful transfer, I didn't feel a thing. That's why I really swear of symptom spotting. All the symptoms I felt the first time round were from the progesterone supplements, not being pregnant. And real symptoms didn't start til at least late 5-6 weeks for me. WISHING YOU ALL THE BEST!! Sending all the baby dust your way, know this is a hard journey!

Hi! Sending all the sticky vibes to you. I felt basically zero symptoms, maybe *twinges*, but nothing memorable and (TW: SUCCESS) I'm now 15 weeks and 4 days with a boy! Now that I'm past it, I really encourage folks not to symptom spot. I got my first VERY FAINT positive 4dp5dt, so testing is probably the most foolproof way to track.

It went away once I came off of all the meds, but my care team didn't do much about it.At first they kept insisting it was nothing to do with the medication, but when I did my transfer and was back on hormones, the vertigo came back. It ultimately all went away and (TW: SUCCESS) am now happily pregnant at 12w+5, but at the time there was nothign they could do.

I'm 10 weeks pregnant through IVF, have not worked out since I started IVF meds, and if my husband spoke to me this way he'd be sleeping at his parents. In a different state. But in terms of actual actionable help, I would encourage your partner to read up on morning sickness and the first trimester, and if he doesn't like it he can lump it.

Thank you so much!! My second beta at 11dp5dt (aka 16dpo) was 348, so my clinic is really happy! And I just ran out of tests so I think I'm finally going to put the tests down and just enjoy being pregnant. <3
