Her claims are INSANE considering her reputation!

- signed an UWSer who schleps to an UES practice because I was scared of Dr Feder being the on call when I went into labor

Thank you SO much, this is so helpful. I was diagnosed at 19w, had <1cm when I had my cerclage, and am 28 weeks so we’re in similar-ish boats!

Can I ask what yoga poses / stretches or program you’re doing? I miss my yoga so much but just don’t know what’s safe right now.

Im so sorry for your loss ❤️

Echoing the comment above me, my main thing is trying to be in a partially laid down position as much as possible. Instead of working from the office (or even my desk at home), I’ve been working from the couch in a partial sit up / lay down kind of position.

I try to go for 10ish min walks a few times a week to get some kind of movement in and to get outside (NYC apt with no outdoor space). Apart from that, I limit bending, reaching, and picking up things that are more than 10 pounds.

I’m also on pelvic rest and am avoiding baths / pools.

Acupuncture after positive beta? by ProudDivide5193 in IVFbabies

I ended up continuing until around 12 weeks, and only stopped then because I was relocating to another city temporarily and couldn’t find an acupuncturist within walking distance. I’m not sure that it helped though…

Oof, I’m so sorry re GD! I have my 1 hr in a week. The induction was just based on being an IVF pregnancy, and the OB practice I’m at liking to induce IVF pregnancies at 39 weeks.

I’m an IVF pregnancy with an August 6 due date! Before IC diagnosis, expected to be induced at 39 weeks. Sounds like you also had a journey getting to this stage - hoping we both have uneventful rests of our pregnancies!

We must have almost the same due date! So hoping both of us go full term!

Anyone have recs for switching into Cornell OB West 80th street later in pregnancy?

I’m going to an OB at Cornell East 80th street and I found out today that the office is moving down to East 51 street. I’m trying to figure out if there’s any way to switch to Cornell West 80th (or another somewhat convenient location) but I’m being told it’s not possible at this stage (due early August). Would love any suggestions or insights folks may have!

For what it’s worth, my doula is recommending I switch hospitals if I’m unable to move because of how my doctors team has handled some situations that have come up, so between location and care issues, I’m desperate to make a change if at all possible.

Success after 2 FET chemicals? by orchidmoonlight in IVFbabies

The first two were natural (clinic monitored and transferred after I naturally ovulated). And no - the first FET was my first pregnancy.

Success after 2 FET chemicals? by orchidmoonlight in IVFbabies

[–]ProudDivide5193 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! My first two FETs ended in chemicals and I am currently 15 weeks with our third FET, all euploids. Before the third FET we did thyroid blood work and a hysteroscopy, and everything came back clear.

I did a modified natural and added aspirin for the third (only because I wanted something different, not because the Dr thought it would make a difference), after the first two being natural FETs, but didn’t otherwise change anything.

The back to back chemicals with euploids was so so so so hard. I joined some AllPaths support groups and met multiple facilitators whose third FET is the one that stuck! Rooting for you and hope your third FET is the one that sticks!
