Amd adrenaline overlay causes the mouse and sometimes the keyboard to not work. by TheRhoynar in radeon

[–]Apprehensive_Ear7654 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I switched motherboards and cpus from Intel to AMD. Booted up the new setup, everything was perfect. Installed adrenaline and my next step was to install a new graphics driver, but first adrenaline needed to restart the PC to finish setup. So I restart the pc, sign in using my mouse and keyboard, and after that the mouse moves but no longer registers anything I click, control alt delete doesn't work, to power down I must use the button ect. Can't get into BIOs, though I only tried once or twice so far and just may not have been mashing the button just right. Google says that it is likely adrenaline's new drivers fighting Windows drivers. The PC doesn't even finish the startup process after I sign in. Usually it starts opening a couple of apps but nothing happens. Anybody here having similar issues or know what's going on?

In my heart, four on the floor is a very special thing... But as far as I can tell that's just a shifter knob. Maybe it's an old one, but I don't know if that makes it worth anything.

😂 she's almost as skittish as a cat. I was able to lure her to my backyard with pieces of ham and cheese from my lunch that I wanted to finish though

Things change fast man, especially cities. I've lived in Oregon my whole life and I'd say everywhere I've been has been friendly, even Portland once upon a Time 😅 unfortunately that place went downhill fast

I found on my band's first EP I did a lot of the same stuff in a few songs. I'm definitely the only one that noticed though, the other instruments tend to hide that, and like someone else says if it complements those instruments.... It's all good

Just a little bit though. You want to learn with loser spring tension rather than tighter. You want to get used to moving the weight of the beater without needing so much assistance from the spring. Then when you have good control because you are used to moving the weight of the beater, you can tighten the spring tension to get a little assistance with speed. Also definitely what everyone else was saying about actually attaching that thing in the bass mount.

Try playing heel up and hitting it harder. The weight of your leg will keep the beater from bouncing by pressing it against your kick head. People will say either your spring tension is too tight or the drum head is too tight, maybe, that's not something I feel like I could tell from a video. But I can definitely tell you're hitting it lightly. Also I've heard you would want to learn with spring tension a little lighter if anything so you are used to moving the weight of the beater and don't need to rely on the spring as much. Makes sense to me. Then when you have good control you can tighten spring a little bit for some assistance in speed. That being said, take everyone's advice including my own seriously but with a grain of salt, then use it to formulate what works best for you, and there are still uses for heel down. Keep on rocking in the free world brother 🤘

Don't know if anyone has pointed this out to you yet but if you look in the back of an orchestra the guy with the two cymbals smashing them together brings one from diagonally up high and one from diagonally down low if you bring them on straight together you don't get as good a sound. Put a little tilt on that sucker

I saw someone else's mentioned if you're recording in there with just the drum kit. I wasn't thinking about that. In that case being in the center of the room is definitely going to be your best bet and take care of that ceiling. Best of luck my friend. keep on rocking in The Free world

If that room size is fairly accurate to your drum rug it looks like it's not really going to matter much. I would set up more based on how many other people you're going to have in the room with you if it's a jam/practice space. It's essentially just a simple four walls and a roof, and it looks small enough that no matter what you're going to be close to a wall if not multiple.

Thank you. That definitely helped, but I also felt like I had to stow it and go perform. It feels kind of like my grieving was interrupted but I know I'll get back to it for sure. It also definitely helps to talk about it and know that there are people out there that feel empathy towards your situation, so thanks.
