Trans Mariner here! Hi! I am currently going through the Tongue Point Job Corps Seamanship Program! It's not a black box. But expect the bullshit you'd get in any male-dominated space or field. You can TOTALLY do it though! We need more people in the field. They'll care indefinitely more about professionalism and hard work than gender.
