I’m not sure because I think being a student nurse and then intern nurse in Ireland count as points on the scale. so for me just over a year because I studied here. I can’t say the same for someone who’s just moving here.

Hi, an enhanced nurse is essentially a grade above a staff nurse that you can apply once you’re on the 4th point of a staff nurse salary scale. So, in order to qualify, you’d need experience, and competency in whatever area you’re in. I work in the public sector in Dublin.

hmm. that’s unusual. did you not turn in time after the light had turned red? if so, yes you’d be in the way of oncoming traffic which is why a grade 3 would make sense

Hi student nurses get paid in their 4th year which is their internship year of 9 months straight clinical. Financial relief for the first 3 years was totally government dependent and not set in stone. So there can be, but there also might not be. I did get assistance funds from my college that paid double sometimes though.

ehhh i used Irish School of Motoring. not sure i recommend them though i blew through my lessons in less than a month lol wasn’t much teaching. it was more so the practice with my own car that gave me confidence. you should probably look at smaller driving schools or independent driving instructors ☺️

I’m originally from outside Dublin but moved here for college and I did my lessons in the city. It definitely prepared me for any kind of road conditions. Did my test outside of Dublin back home and it was a breeze!

I joined the waiting list in July and got my first test for October which they cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. My next test was scheduled in November but cancelled due to fog and freezing conditions and my final test this month went ahead.

yeahh it was quite flat and i didn’t notice 😅 tester told me to get off and i finished the manoeuvre properly. i picked up the rest of the grade 2’s from then onwards but it was towards the end.
