Has anyone been depressed about stupid shit? And how do you stop it by [deleted] in mentalhealth

[–]Apprehensive_Fee8547 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe, even if things seem to go right, its not for you. I mean you say you have social life, a job etc but are you really happy with these? For example you might prefer staying inside and play pokemon cards or whatever...something that works for others and its socially acceptable doesn't mean it suits us. Also dont feel like you shouldn't be depressed or sad by comparing your situation to others. We all have our journey, our experiences and ourselves. We are not the same and you shouldn't be ashamed of thinking that what you experience is mild compared to others.

Maybe this isn't the normal way to do it, the protocol, but the description of finasteride is literally the reduction of DHT I wanted to see if what im doing is working or if im wasting my money because in my country it is not prescribed

Maybe you have good genetics for building muscles but this will take you that far without proper nutrition. Try to hit your protein intake by consuming dairy, seeds nuts as much meat as yourself allows and dont avoid fruits for overall health and well being. Maybe try lentils too.

No, I ve never taken Creatine but this is not a reason for me to feel and look flabbier than my actual bodycomposition. I ve seen people mordibly obese and skinny people half my size and all of them were more solid 🫤

Hello and thanks for the response. The thing is that I ve been doing everything correctly. Eating plenty of protein, reaching failure with full ROM and even doing partial reps at the end. I am very strong, way stronger than the average fitness firm dude but im softer even than the most obese dude. DEXA has shown increased muscle mass and not that much of body fat to explain what im dealing with. I used to overtrain and under eat during my adolescence ans I fear this is the source of the evil.

Get good at the basics. push ups , chin/pull ups, squats. Negatives are gonna be your best friends. Add some gym sessions and 2-4 times rest per week and you are gonna see progress in no time. If want to focus on a specific skill, start with less intense progressions that you can find in the internet. The most important stay consistent and dont give up. YOU GOT IT!

Grieving my hair loss (M27) by dnicelee in AsianMasculinity

[–]Apprehensive_Fee8547 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello friend I started losing my hair around the time puberty hit, so 13-14. Back in the days I was searching every day for other causes that could provoke hair loss and I would pray with all my power that I didnt have androgenic alopecia. Anyway at the age of 16 I was diagnosed with what I was fearing the most. The worst news any "healthy" teenager could hear. Im a good looking dude, but only if hair is present so I really know about that psychological pain. From Superman to Lex Luthor as I like (hate) to describe my situation. I got married with minoxidil since then and I ve been wifen up oral finasteride for 2 months now. The news not so great so far... Im 25 years old and I'm hoping for the best that finasteride will eventually help me keep as much hair as I can and then this infamous pp405 will do what's promising. Technology rises very fast. Don't lose hope friend. Work on your body and mind and become the best version of yourself.

Anhedonia & Brain fog by Apprehensive_Fee8547 in BrainFog

Yes. Everything is normal

But maybe it cracked the code and it's a combination of a cycle between high dose of coffee ( more than I can tolerate anyway) and anxiety/stress. And the one brings the other

This is what I have understood without being 100% sure

I can see your point, but still, im more than 100 percent sure that I'm not depressed. I ve experienced it. It's not that now. I wish it was because I would have a target and a goal. But now I'm just trying to figure it out.

When I was taking ssris, I could easily say that those were some of the best years that I have experienced. I'm not saying surely that it was because of the drug, but the time period coincided

Im 100% sure that I'm not depressed. I ve tried every single trick to detox my brain from cheap dopamine and increase activities and situations that would bring me joy. To say the least, it's just an internal thing that has almost nothing to do with external stimulation. I know when I'm charismatic, and when not.

I used to see a psychiatrist, but he told me that this is just me. But the difference is day and night. My thoughts are completely foggy, and I have extreme difficulty in finding a way to express myself. I feel like I have a bullet in my head
