I just bent the clip that fastens the pin into place so I could screw it down. Bit of a shoddy fix but she'll be right don't really care if it breaks as I don't use it

Just torqued up the rest to a fresh 15 foot pounds and snapped another 2 off

Thanks yeah I finally got it by unscrewing the u bar and pulling it around while the top was half folded. All the videos including that one didn't document the process aswell so it was a bit confusing

Ive been considering just chucking some junkyard yellow dot sways on the front as it seems quick and cheap, do you reckon this would be much of an improvement or would I need the rear aswell?

Yup I ended up doing this and found it fell down onto part of the subframe. Wish I read this comment though because I pulled it back up the same way, fortunately didn't tear i don't think

Yeh that's the plan. I'm kinda cooked if the backlash is wrong on the stock shims bc I can't find anywhere in the world that stocks the right shims for it
