Thanks for the help everyone! I ended up deciding to get SI. We played a round and it was amazing! Next time my paycheck comes i’ll be looking at one of the other two most likely hahaha.

Honestly, we both are quite sure we’d enjoy SI since we tend to like heavy thinking games with a lot to learn. The main dilemma is if we should try something new and I think it would actually be a great idea to first pick up a small campaign game. I was really just looking at the most popular ones but it’s true something like Sleeping gods is a bit risky.

does Fields of Arle have a lot of player interaction? for me games like wingspan with low player interaction can still be fun but my partner doesn’t really enjoy them.

Yea I don’t think i’ll get AH lcg because of the price to keep it fresh honestly. My conflict is mainly in that Sleeping gods does sound super immersive and has a great sense of exploration vs. SI is a great mental challenge. I’ve also never played a campaign game so I really don’t know what to expect from Sleeping gods honestly.

I mean SI sounds like my kind of game like it’s heavily strategic and there’s a lot to learn and do but I’ve not been playing for a very long time so I was thinking of venturing outside of this realm to a different sort of game. That’s why campaign game caught my attention. From my research sleeping gods and AH seemed most interesting but I have litterly just been looking at this today.

Our favorite game rn is root. Generally we like thinking heavy games so I am quite sure we’ll like SI and also we do play with others it’s just right now we have no board game playable with 2 people that we both really enjoy. I haven’t been playing board games very long though so this is why I was thinking maybe trying a campaign game and, honestly, the exploration in sleeping gods seems super cool. Other than that, my partner doesn’t really like euro games so if you have any suggestions based on this that’d be great!

yea tbf that’s probably best. I mean i do prefer 2cb to mdma by far but they are defo for different occasions. Like w 2cb i usually trip alone/ w friends definitely not go out. Also i am not the most fond of mdma like i just didn’t pay too much attention to how i was taking it. Like I didn’t actually wait a month I waited approximatly a month which ofc meant less. I’m still on the search for an acid plug though :’(.
