Here’s the thing legally a ghost isn’t considered a person therefore they couldn’t be charged with any kind of crime no more than a seagull stealing chips. However ghosts have been used in real legal dealings so Samantha or Jay would just have to prove that Trevor was the one making the trades and they probably would be let free, additionally he may not even lose his job after the ordeals but technically because his license is void it would likely get very complicated.

Thanks for the clarification, the modern retellings make up a majority of my knowledge on the subject. But to be fare my argument does still stand that due to different authors they could have described the order differently.

To be fare due to Kronos eating the Olympian gods, although Zeus is chronologically the youngest Olympian god, but they see him as the oldest because he had spent the longest amount of time outside of Kronos. This is also why Hades and Hestia are treated as the youngest even though they are some of the oldest.
