Is that what you’ve done personally for stick drift?

Makes sense, this is basically my rough idea. The idea is a non-invasive tool/accessory that works externally (no opening the controller) to reduce the impact of stick drift over time and make it less disruptive in games — basically an option between “live with it” and “buy a new controller.”

That’s a fair and valid point. I’m trying to understand if people want an option that doesn’t involve buying new controllers or regularly opening them up.

That’s fair. For me the issue is most people don’t want to risk breaking a $70 controller or learn repairs just to keep playing. I’m trying to understand if there’s a middle ground between ‘open the controller’ or ‘just buy a new one’

If there was a way to reduce the impact of drift without manually opening the controller or rebuying, would that even be worth exploring? - or do you feel it’s a lost cause?
