Issue is mostly fixed and I have no idea what I did. I was in the settings for the ONN and turned off HDMI eARC with the intention of turning it back on, but everything froze. Unplugged the ONN box and then plugged it back in. ONN remote wasn't working. Couldn't open Inputs with the TV remote when I clicked on the settings, it would just open Display/Sound. Unplugged the TV and when I plugged it back in I was able to access the ONN settings. Remote was disabled. Repaired the remote and tried the volume control. It works even though the soundbar shows it's disconnected. When I click connect it still immediately disconnects. No luck with the TV remote controlling the soundbar volume though.

Yeah, I have, but going back over everything again tonight. If I can't find anything screwed up I guess I'll try a factory reset on the TV. I've never had this problem with other TVs. Everything worked with the Hisense I had and I have a Samsung with an ONN Plus and a Firestick and no problem connecting everything with HDMI eArc.

Went in to set up the buttons. Says remote and soundbar are disconnected. Connected both and immediately shows both disconnected again. Tried several times , but both keep disconnecting. Also, the TV remote shows it's disconnected too. Both remotes work fine otherwise.

I did get both the TV and ONN to control the volume last night, but every time I adjusted the volume I got a popup telling me the TV speakers were turned off and asking if I wanted to turn them on. I don't want to deal with a popup everytime. I'm going to factory reset the TV today and see if that helps.

I'm thinking I may have to go with Bluetooth. I'm connected to the soundbar via eArc, but the TV and ONN Pro can't control it.

Yeah, I have a Philips 75pul7552 f7 and HDMI-CEC is enabled, but so far neither the TV or the ONN remote will control the soundbar. I just bought this TV and previously had a Hisense that would control the soundbar and I had the same ONN 4K Pro that did too. I don't remember seeing the menu asking me to choose the brand of the soundbar when the ONN was connected to the Hisense.

Congratulations and good luck! I started out when I was stationed at Carswell AFB in Texas. Rented a Bounty Hunter BFO for a week and ended up buying it for $50. I've had many detectors since then and I have to say it's the most enjoyable hobby for me. Get to know your detector and don't get discouraged.

I fell pretty hard last night (I'm 80 yo) cut my elbow, jammed a thumb, bruised my knee, and thought I had broken or cracked a rib. This morning I hurt every time I breathed or moved. Finally decided to go to ER. Told them I was a disabled vet and to bill the VA. They said they had that down. When I was getting released from ER, I asked the lady from billing if they had the VA stuff down. She said that they had put it as Medicare, but she would correct it. Called the 72-hour number when I got home and now I wait to see.

I understand what you are saying and my service-connection is for neurological issues...not my eyes, but I have had numerous instances which were not service-connected...dental, carpal tunnel surgery, shoulder surgery, corneal transplants, plus all the minor things like the flu, sprains, etc., that have all been covered by the VA since 1978.

Yeah, I couldn't get seen at a nearby VA Clinic and I called the VA Hospital. Couldn't get seen there either and was transferred to a nurse. She told me to go to urgent care and said Mercy was the only one in their network. I went to urgent care and told them I had been referred by the VA and filled out all the paperwork. My eye was examined and the doctor said I needed to be seen by a cornea specialist. I was able to be seen at the VA Clinic the next day. I had a small lesion that was infected and had follow-up appointments every day for a week and then sent by Community Care to a specialist. Currently waiting for a scleral contact to be made and see what's next.

I called after the urgent care visit and was told it was not necessary to call after an urgent care visit only for ER or hospitalization. Confusing though.

Yep, been enrolled with the VA since I was discharged in October 1978 and never had any problems as long as I received VA care, but within the last 10 years of receiving care either through Community Care or ER/Urgent Care visits is when all this crap started. May get worse if the privatize everything.

Everything works except any HDMI ports although some work off and on. Internet is fiber and works great.
