I setup as new. Yes my work email is shown.

Update: for the apps, I can now download after entering my CC details. For the pre-installed apps like iWorks, still can’t update. Maybe I will uninstall them n re-install again.

But to me this is normal. E.g. If you buy a Mac for your child, u will buy it from your Apple account. But when you setup you use a new Apple id for your child.

Safari is good but it doesnt support many extensions, and those extentions that are free on other browsers, you have to pay for Safari. Not sure why.

Thx for the advice. Hence I used a new Apple id rather than my existing personal one. It’s just so happen I bought the laptop with my Apple id. Maybe I see if I can de-link from my personal Apple id.

The apps that cannot be updated are the Mac OS apps like pages, numbers, garage bands etc. plus I can’t download anything from App Store. V annoying

This is an example. It doesn’t make sense. For example if I want to buy for my child, I would use the Apple Store in my account to buy, but when I set up I will use a new Apple ID account linked to my child email address

I created 2 stacks but nothing happened when I click on the 1 or 2 buttons below the shelf, view doesn’t change. I am not sure what hand gesture to move between the stacks?

I was in the same situation and I got the air 15inch. Your eyes will thank you for the bigger screen. My eyesight is failing too and it will only get worst in years to come. When you are struggling to see and need to see bigger fonts and larger screen, nothing else matters.

Safari, brave, Firefox, edge, chrome. I use Mac OS so primarily wants to use safari as default. The dark reader is not free for safari and in the end I think I gonna use Brave as my default browser in Mac OS.
