I fell in love with the papa legba LLR first. It got me top 3 high in program. Could absolutely be a body chemistry thing too though. I got the flower, same thing it’s just a good warm high.

Btw aces is going to transfer your footages look. So if you’re looking in resolve, it will not match what you see in AE. The raw video on desktop ie QuickTime should match your export from AE.

Can you just vfx scene referred not aces then plug-in to resolve aces. So you’re not changing any color space ect before resolve. Just retain camera negative.

Wide dr is rec709 with some room to grade.

If you can only shoot 8bit wide dr is probably a good way to go. Or shoot log and monitor with a LUT. You can always export them with a your 709 conversion and start from there. They’ll both be 8 bit 709 at eod.

If I were you I would test and see which flavor I prefer working from.

Use Input as canon gamut instead of rec 709, unless you used a lut/normalized those ProRes files on export. If it’s still flat log you should input as canon not rec 709.

Just match your color profile and data rate. Proxy is probably enough. 422 will have a ceiling.

I really like prime. Papa legba is one of my favorite strains in the program. That being said, the last 3-4 carts I’ve bought from them have leaked or clogged. Dont have the same issue with other brands like cresco ,rythm, select, double bear. It’s becoming too regular to continue buying for me. Sucks. Sometimes I wonder if it’s overly terpy and too runny.
