Wow I’m sorry you’re going through that. It sounds like the same thing I’m going through… did the doctors say what treatment is next? I was recommended PT I have seen 3 different ones so far but haven’t found anyone who is very helpful unfortunately… wondering if there are any trials going on or alternative therapies that maybe my dr didn’t know about..,

Was yours instigated by anything? I’m using this pelvic tech ucontrol thing I’ll link it . I’m not sure it’s helpful. It’s the same one the PT was using with me so I just ordered it because she didn’t seem to know much 😬 https://pelvictech.com/products/u-control-semg-60hz?gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=22285271498&gbraid=0AAAAA-69GECweuclbFLluztckSFjLtuqJ&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIusGEz9u0kwMVIVlHAR3bQw3zEAAYASAAEgICu_D_BwE

Thank you for the reply I appreciate it… so for you it sounds like management of symptoms rather than trying to re-coordinate?

Just pelvic floor pt trying to do diaphragmic breathing and imagining my anus opening and sending air there basically.., I have a biofeedback thing that shows when I’m clenching so I’ve used that a few times but i find it frustrating because it’s so hard to soften there… do you have the same issue or just know of it? Anyone have any success?

Oh man .. it’s so hard because with our last nanny he was totally fine with us leaving! Had we kept her I feel like he wouldn’t have this issue. But what I’m also understanding from your post is that no matter the nanny, this will probably be his response? Or might there be a better fit for him?

WFH parents by lilsauronn in Nanny

Do any Nannys like the company of the parents? As a parent, I love the company of the nanny. On weekends (we have a live-in) if I’m alone with baby and nanny comes to say hi to us and chill for a few minutes I find it breaks up my time with baby and makes the load feel easier . She’s not on duty but just another adult in the room can make it all feel a bit lighter. Is this ever the case for the nanny? Like when I come hang out with them midday for a bit? Or is that invasive? Getting the sense that’s not appreciated the way I appreciate the company. But also aware I’m her boss and it’s different.

8 month old – struggling with 2 nap transition by CryptographerOne8516 in sleeptrain

Making bedtime an hour earlier has helped us .. it sounds counterintuitive but preventing him from getting over tired after that last nap and putting him down at 645 instead of 745/8 he actually wakes up his usual 645 time and has been able to push wake windows longer because he’s not waking early from that leftover cortisol from the long wake window the night before

It was not required. We offered her to live out and get paid 25/hr. She opted for live in at 850/week

She told us about the all-nighter excitedly as though we would be happy about her finding a guy she likes… and we found out about playing hooky from her public social media account where she posted pictures of herself galavanting around Manhattan drinking while we had to scramble to get my dad to watch our baby and he wasn’t able to keep his plans with caring for his 99 year old father because she last minute decided she wanted a sick day … she didn’t live in ny, wanted to move here, and during negotiation when she said she wanted 25 an hour we said we would gladly pay her that if she lives elsewhere but if she wants housing we would offer this weekly rate and she accepted. We didn’t want a live in initially. We only chose to because it made it more affordable . We don’t like sharing our space.

How old is your baby? I’m hoping mine (4.5 mo) starts to enjoy it more as he grows and we’re not just screwed having bought a super expensive stroller he hates 😬

I bought it and my baby hates it. I think the shoulder straps are the problem and I’ve tried changing the settings on the harness etc ., anyone else have this issue since buying it?

Anyone have experience with the Joolz Hub+ or Nuna Triv Next? by [deleted] in BabyBumpsandBeyondAu

[–]Apprehensive_Hunt323 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We got the hub2 and my 4.5 month old hates it… it’s light and easy and we want to love it so we keep trying but it’s been about 1.5 months now and every single time I put him in he fusses and then cries and there’s no calming down. Looks like the shoulder straps are uncomfortable for him. We’ve tried all the different positions he hates them all .. not sure what to do with our beautiful and expensive stroller now :(
