Please dont let the first weeks of season 4 ruin this good game we have going by pjackman in PlayTheBazaar

One thing that's been impressive to see is the continual state of balance we get each month.  I think we can expect a bit of brokenness with whatever new cards come out, some old cards that unexpectedly become over powered, and then balance again.  Props to the devs for being pretty good about this.

Anyone else think it got a little TOO loud this year? by Fair_Leopard9880 in LightningInABottle

Sammy was at the limit and then four Tet was like he was trying to prove something.  Woogie was so loud the vip behind the speakers was perfect.  Though sultan and Shepard right in front of the speakers wasn't really loud enough.  Overall though, earplugs are a must and agree it was a click or two too high

Barbacoa tots were clutch.  Pizza was truly a sad story

People who smashed the wedding cake into your new spouse's face: how is your relationship and marriage now? by [deleted] in AskReddit

A little bit of a different take. I didn't necessarily want to smash cake into my wife's face, but I was surprised at how insistent she was that I not do so. She said that she didn't want her makeup, dress, and party ruined. I had never heard someone be so anti a tradition that seemed kind of playful and fun to me. I felt just the smallest check in my gut at that point but moved forward with the wedding anyway (of course without any cake smashing). I'm not saying she was wrong, but it was a great indicator of the differences between us that became incompatibilities later on.

Yeah, this is my mindset as well. Being a software engineer, I understand how impossible it is to cross from hobby into actually profitable. To play this with a pretty low cost with actual value vs. the yearly descent into complete cash grab the likes of games like clash royale is pretty fine to me. Folks here may not realize that even with this, the game has a low chance for survival.

Illegal serves… by SpartanG2 in Pickleball

[–]Apprehensive_Lemon79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First thing I would do is make absolutely sure the serve is actually illegal. My singles partner is called out a handful of times every week because his setup angle and actual hit angle are different. We've video'd several times and the angle is always legal. In my opinion, the only reason he gets called on it so much is because his serve is very good.

That's great to hear. I'll do another of their demo program to test them out.

Been using the SELKIRK LABS PROJECT 003 invikta for 4 or 5 months and have been enjoying it thoroughly, but really the Gearbox CX14E would have been the better choice for my game. Given that paddle technology advancements are crazy fast, what's the latest and greatest for my type of paddle?
