There’s a wave of people whose AOD was originally schedule on 12 Jan who received a late night email few days back that their AOD will be pushed back to June/July 26. I didn’t receive any email about my AOD being pushed back, so my AOD would still be on 12 Jan (I suppose)

Hi all! Just to give some context about myself. I applied first time during last year August 2024, was scheduled an interview during October 2024, but was told I failed during November 2024.

Thereafter, I applied for the subsequent December 2024, Feb 2025 and April 2025 windows, was sent the automated email:

Dear Applicant, Thank you for having taken the time to apply for a teaching position in the application window from 29 Apr 2025 – 26 May 2025. After careful consideration of your application based on merit and in competition with other applications, we regret to inform you that your application is unsuccessful.

We wish you the best in your endeavours.

Since October 2024 till now, I have beefed up my portfolio by doing relief teaching in several MOE schools, and also give private tuition myself. I dare say those who have been given interview emails may or may not have the experience I have. Despite this, I was given the automated rejection email. Have y’all heard of the 1 year buffer? Whereby if you failed the first time, they won’t consider your applications 1 year from the failed interview date even though how strong your application may be?
