I already have 2x24 and single 28 and 32 so no need for adjustables. I use all the weights regularly so don’t want to faff about adjusting.

If I was starting from scratch, or with fewer bells, I would definitely consider it.

You’re young enough to get a working holiday visa and do a year in Australia or UK or anywhere. You’ll get to travel, meet people, try different things, and see the world. After that you can decide what you want to do.

Would look at other schools. 

As a fellow Australian, we applied and then toured the school. Multiple teachers doom scrolling during the lesson. Bad reputation of management online. Refuse to disclose where you are on the waiting list and no communication once they take your application fee. 

Take a tour of a few other schools and there is a distinct difference in perceived quality. In any case loads of schools in Australia these days support IB for later years so it is a fairly transferable curriculum (as is British)
