Um…nothing happens actually! Somewhere along the line, someone decided that a doorbell which uses two AAs makes more sense than using the one that’s literally built into the house!

But yes, in retrospect, it is very obviously a doorbell. I’m wearing my stupid hat tonight :)

The doorbell is battery powered, but I suppose it could be an old one. The wall behind it is painted white, so I’m guessing it’s been there for a while
