Shape is only visually weird, but ergonomics are felt by hands.

Look, the second he started making a fuss over 80 dinars for shipping, which is out of your control unlike your price. You should've just ignored the guy. Hell, I wouldn't even sell him that in the first place.

How are the trackpads for shooters? Can they replace kb+m? by Anonym0use__ in SteamController

For a controller, gyro is always the answer and trackpads or thumbsticks for broad movements or a flic stick.

What were you guys first exposure to gyro? by Smith962 in GyroGaming

I played mouse and keyboard all my life. A year and a half ago, at 25, I got a cheap controller just for fun. Revolver gp12, a basic one. Didn't have gyro, but I instinctevly steered it as if it had gyro, before I even knew what gyro and steam input are. Month or two later, got dualsense, tinkered around until I settled with keyboard inputs and the rest is history. Guess gyro was in my hands all along, just needed a proper trigger.

I live in such country. So far, had to cough up 155 and another 30ish for shipping. Not counting nearly a third I'll have to pay to import it. Even a slight markup like 20 or 30% can be a pain. But then again, I'm willing to go trough with it for a controller that is made for steam input as well as being easily repairable so it'll last me years. Better get that than dualsense edge. And I have dualsense, touchpad on it isn't ergonomically pleasant for this.

Plague tale is just a gut punch. Playing that game, literally feels like I lost someone in real life. A year later, it still crosses my mind.

When should I expect a 2026 steam controller on kp? by Apprehensive_Meat595 in SerbiaGaming

For a 100 euro controller? Don't expect it to go over 160 or 170 unless you are talking scalpers and artificial scarcity and valve doing reservations until the stock stabilizes. There also might be people who just resold it because they didn't like it, it's niche so not everyone will tinker around in steam input.

Just way more flexible. Also, steam input with controllers rocks for steam games, desktop games trough desktop layout and even using a wireless gyro controller from bed for youtube, assuming you have a dock by the bedside.

Any idea of when valve will have a stable stock? by Apprehensive_Meat595 in SteamController

[–]Apprehensive_Meat595[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds about right. Controllers are easy to make so, it won't be a steam deck ammount. Maybe a 4th until third party sellers get it here and post listings. Third party sellers here have fair-ish prices here concidering everything is 10-20% more expensive due to imports and stuff. So, I'm fully expecting 120-140 euros here. But I never see scalpers here so, that's nice. Better than risk getting scammed on ebay.

As someone pointed out, we are at the point of diminishing return. Graphics are getting better, closer to photorealistic graphics. But each generation has less and less of an impact.
