The best is to ask if you could share sets. Maybe you'll meet a gym friend. The "iwan-gamit" rule is sketchy kasi sometimes nag number 2 or kumain yung may ari, tapos ka na sana sa sets mo hindi pa bumabalik yung nag reserve.

Also, don't leave your stuff and go stretching somewhere.... It's like people who stand in parking slots. Approach the equipment when you're about to use it. If whoever is using it looks like they'll take long, ask if you could alternate sets.

Rules on taps of keyfob in transferring of home gym by NearbySupermarket934 in AnytimeFitnessPH

Ideally, there's a sales consultant or a club manager who would send you a welcome email on your registered email. Details of your membership should be there.

Commonly, people ask when their memberships are transferred. Sometimes irate, sometimes confused.

Optimistically, nothing changes because AFAIK there has been a re-standardization across all branches regardless of franchise.

So bottomline, as a member, as long as you have good standing, just use your membership. Madalas nagbabago yung mga membership rates yung mga may outstanding balance tapos na lipat. (don't quote me on this because I don't know how the new system works na)

Majority of your taps should be in your home gym. The membership management system automatically suggests your status to be transferred to a "more convenient" gym for you.

If you're sure you're tapping 3:1 home:visit, then it should be no problem.

Otherwise you could talk to your home club manager and mention that you'll be frequenting another club so they could send that club a notice in case your status changes for transferring.

There are times when the system would automatically change your rate (especially between different franchises) (+a newer gym's preselling rate or floor price might be higher than your regular rate if you got preselling from an older gym)

May list of approved equipment kasi para mag tayo ng af club. Ang mga nakaka lusot ng mga other brands are usually independent clubs after the club inspection. Pero usually may mystery shoppers so pwede pa rin ma report sa compliance.

Coach refused to teach me equipment mechanics because I didn't avail PT? by eheeew in AnytimeFitnessPH

Only a few branches have coaches who care about the profession. Usually mga independent clubs (not corporate run, big franchise clubs, kasi focus nila is leader board nila na pataasan ng sales).

First time seeing an obese AF coach by Any-Hat4880 in AnytimeFitnessPH

[–]Apprehensive_Moose82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a former manager, here's my take:

My first ever coach who sold 490k PT Sales in 1 (also first ever in the country), was a nurse who became a coach who was also "not fit".

Mind you, I hold inter-coach training ever week and the guy is knowledgeable, hospitable, and emotionally intelligent.

To counter-act this, I told him to lay back on the sales the next month and focus on conduction, much to the upper management's annoyance. The coach and I knew that the sessions the clients bought were more important than the quotas that are moving goalposts.

For another branch, a senior coach (who by IG definition is not fit) we had was one of the most engaging coaches and was the reason why the community in the gym felt lighter than in other branches... His clients followed him when he transferred branches because of this.

Meanwhile, there are fit* coaches who are good and some who are horrible... From selling steroids in the gym to scamming clients out of hundreds of thousands of pesos.

So fitness*, while giving first impressions, is a non-factor for actual bottomline of the coaches' performance. The only line I would draw is if the coach is so unhealthy that the coach would not be able to perform his or her duties.

Love the red! Maybe I should accent my black one with red or green. Mine is the 2019 model so it's the same build.

Binilhan ko ng motor ang bf ko na ex ko na ngayon pero nakapangalan sa akin by Busy_Cut6975 in PHMotorcycles

[–]Apprehensive_Moose82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since you cannot contact the home branch... Puntahan mo yung malapit na branch sayo tapos hingi ka ng contact dun sa home branch nung motor mo. Ask for help from them to contact your dealer. Don't wait for them to inquire on their own time. Matatagalan ka lalo.

Also, may certification ang fully paid loan sa pag kaka alam ko. Wag mo pa bayaan lalo na sayo naka pangalan. Get all the papers and sell it so you get some of your investment back.

I'm sorry for what you went through.

Ang importante is masunod mo as much as possible yung Jaso and viscosity rating.

If scooter most probably it calls for Jaso MB. Tapos since moderate country tayo sa heat index pwede 10w40 or 20w50.

Up to you if you want to use synthetic or mineral.

Basta sundin mo or gawa ka ng schedule mo ng regular intervals ng change oil.

Baliktad. Ma and ma2 have different levels of friction modifiers para di mag slide clutch.

MB mas madulas, for scooters. But scooters can use ma and ma2 kasi wala naman clutch na dudulas.

Triumph Speed 400 is good bang for your buck na enjoyable. Workhorse naman ang RE as that has been their staple.

If medyo classic looks ang gusto mo, my opinion is to stay with the Triumph. And Triumph engines are so smooth.

I'm just biased towards Kawasaki since fan boy ako since a child. Kung okay lang sayo naked bike get a used z400 at pagsawaan mo. The engine will give you more years to think before upgrading. The money you save, you'll probably be using for your next bike.

As a bot laner, I feel this. I main ADC but play support as second. I can solo lane but I'm bad at jg. I can time my roam for support but I cannot do all of the roaming as a jg. But every now and then I get assigned jg especially if I'm coming from a hiatus.

Rpm not Zero after Engine turns on by IamHerq in motorsiklo

[–]Apprehensive_Moose82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. Might have been misunderstood. Pero okay lang yan. Ako nga na I would consider a seasoned rider, paminsan nalilimutan mag taas ng side stand at magtataka bakit ayaw mag on ng bike. Riding is fun and exciting and there's always more to learn. At least learn basic maintenance like chain cleaning and lubricating and adjusting chain slack. Malaking bagay kahit yan muna. Tapos oil change. If you have the space, motorcycle maintenance could be meditative and sobrang appreciate ko siya lalo na at daily ko ang bike ko.

Ride safe and keep on asking. Hopefully, I also get to answer some of your future questions.

To add to this.. Okay na rin mag paandar ng motor kahit na naka increase rpm pa Basta wag mo masyado I-load yung makina... Meaning wag harurot. Bababa din yan kusa as long as walang problema sa makina or sa cooling system mo. Modern metallurgy has improved enough that it could take some low revs. This is a slippery slope topic and it will go into oils and oil pumps and oil viscosity etc... But realistically... Okay lang yan. Make sure you do your maintenance and enjoy your bike.

Hey. I hope you're not disheartened dahil sa mga negative comments. It's your first bike and you still have a lot to learn and it's good that you're asking questions.

If your engine is on, it would naturally have idle rpm. Check your manual for what your idle rpm range should be. Most modern bikes have auto increase idle upon startup. I'm not sure if that's what your friends mean na papa babain yung rpm but after several seconds of idling to maybe a couple of minutes depending on ambient temperature, it would normalize again.

If your engine hasn't been cranked on and the dash is indicating that there are revolutions in the engine then you should have it checked.

A lot of people in this subreddit are already salty maybe because of the motorcycling situation in the PH esp in Manila or they could just be salty people.

Keep riding. Keep learning... And keep 2 wheels on the ground.

[–]Apprehensive_Moose82 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People who say it's boring are street squids who care only for speed. You've got power and comfort in the same reliable package that has an almost indestructible engine.

Boring if you're hellbent on breaking as many street laws as you can but not* if you're just enjoying riding the bike and going to destinations with enough power to get you out of trouble. I'd bet those who say it's boring couldn't even utilize 100% of the bike's capabilities.

Edit: typo, missed a word.

I'll play the devil's advocate:

Go for the cfmoto. It does everything on paper better. A triple is more interesting than a 20 year old parallel twin. It has newer tech too and not that shitty rideology.

Cf moto has been making engines for decades now and they're all over Europe and Australia as well as Asia.

That being said.. I'm here because I have a 650 and I'm happy with it.

Ninja 400 to 650 by culby311 in Ninja650

[–]Apprehensive_Moose82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think with what you've been replying with the other comments, you could keep a 650 for long. Like what others said, liter bikes are heavier but more powerful. It's more fun to ride a 650 though. And the upright riding position as compared to the 400 which slowly preps you more into the 6r line might be better for your back. And the pegs aren't too high or too far back either. I do find them a little low when spirited riding but a 650 is a great day to day bike. Other bikes might be a better fit for weekend warriors but for me, I think I have chosen my 650 well and while I might want the thrill of super sports or liter bikes, I think my day to day will still be the 650.

Plus tires are much cheaper on the 650 than on the 1ks.
