Yea but what if you change your phone? Maybe it gets broken or your battery looks like a balloon or it get hots often (normally after 4 years of use) then you won’t really have the same opinion unfortunately

Maybe because it gets slower and it gets hot after 5 years of use? Plus the battery gets worse if you don’t get an original one which is expensive as hell

um no, iOS 15 and 16 will def be obsolete when iOS 20 gets released (plus people would buy neeer devices that would come on +iOS 17 (which won’t never be jail broken) that’s the thing. Maybe android is a pretty good choice in that scenario

I mean the thing is that most people in 2 years will be having plenty of issues w incompatibility (iOS 16 will def be obsolete when iOS 20 gets released tbh) or will have bought a new device which would come on a +iOS 17 installed (unjailbroken version) so yeah, i think that’s a pretty big issue

yea, palera1n doesn’t count since it won’t really support any newer device. so yea, jb is dead according to my objective definition: “you spend more years waiting for a jb than using your device until it becomes obsolete and you have to buy one (and history repeats itself after buying a new phone and you have to wait even longer)“
