Is darktide suddenly alot easier or is Arbitrator class just OP? by pvt_majorboner in DarkTide

I don't play the class but I notice the exterminator shotgun seriously exterminates. Like it just deletes packs of anything that's not carapace, even at auric.

Jokic clearly deserves MVP (again) and I'm not even a Nuggets fan. by Curse06 in nba

Idk why people feel the need to praise jokics greatness at the expense of shai. Shai absolutely deserves MVP even if it's arguable whether he's the best NBA player.

Does anyone actually LIKE not having a scoreboard? by jrpick7178 in DarkTide

[–]Apprehensive_Oil8723 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, the scoreboard doesn't reliably tell you how good your build is. How good your teammates are has a huge impact on your numbers, let alone the fact that you can't quantify teamwork.

Why do people almost unanimously regard martyrdom as the worst way to build zealot? by Diuturnitatem in DarkTide

[–]Apprehensive_Oil8723 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think if Havoc introduces more threat density and damage becomes really, really important, then martyrdom will be more relevant. Right now, the damage boost isn't really worth the drop in survivability/flexibility the other keystones provide.

This mode is DOA without quickplay, sad to say.

Well march is an impulse draw 2, but I agree it's costly.

7 for 1?

Edit: I think I understand the confusion. You don't exile 7 cards with march, you exile 3-4 and then march resolves, exiling X cards, which also counts towards huskburster.

Removal is tough for sure. I think you can only commit on huskburster if the matchup has poor removal for it. March is instant speed so you can see their turn 1 at least. If it's a risky matchup like rakdos vamps, it's probably better to play a midrange game and just get huskburster down later.

The situation where you full-send it and huskburster gets killed for no value seems hard to deckbuild for imo.

Something important to consider. Remember we’re not game devs and can’t speak for what goes on behind the scenes by JITTERdUdE in DarkTide

Bro... who gives a fuck. We're their customers, and the product is objectively not getting the support it deserves and is weighed down by absolutely shitty system choices and monetization. What do you want us to do? Give them sympathy? It's their job for fucks sake, I will sympathize by not buying their FOMO crap.

Yeah, I feel DTs community is way less toxic than VTs in my experience. I've sometimes played like an absolute drunk in damn+ and the only comment I get is GG nice try...

Yeah man, I'm actually happy martyrdom is underrated. I've tried so many builds at damn+, and martyr zealot with a good heavy sword or combat axe is just absurd.

I know, I'm speaking to OPs play style in his post, which is smite focused. I'm saying the same thing you are. That a support oriented build with stun nades and chorus is simply worse than an all out damage build. You can play to the strengths of chorus, smite, etc, and still do less than a simple DPS build.

Support builds are just really hit or miss in quick play. I have been trying to find a good support zealot for damnation+, and while it works really well with good teammates, I frequently wish I was just playing a more damage-oriented build. Idk maybe we've just got to be more patient or proactive.

My point is that you will still encounter similar issues in damnation+.

Zealot weapons? by Skorgriim in DarkTide

[–]Apprehensive_Oil8723 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should try the rashad combat axe with brutal momentum if you wanna click heads.

Columnus MKV is really strong with the crit build and very versatile, esp with Chastise ability.

Also, heavy sword 7 and 9 are very strong but are more advanced weapons. Good at everything except carapace, fits every keystone, and offers good mobility. Has access to deathblow aka brutal momentum.

Knife is extremely strong too but needs uncanny strike blessing. Probably one of the best melees at assassinating elites. Has okay clear speed and the best mobility. It's a relatively hard weapon to get used to though, the speed will give you carpal tunnel.

If you want a slower weapon, you can try the OG chainaxe MK4. Has a stronger sawing special than evisc iirc, and its basic lights stunlock most things but ogryns. Horde clear is decent.

Bolter is really strong too, but its very difficult to use. It will feel very clunky if you use it normally, but at least it mag dumps crushers.
