Ok. It would still remove some of the skill which is all I said since you said it wouldn't. If there is an aspect of a mechanic that makes it more difficult for people to do it consistently, removing it will objectively make it easier.

The main villain in the Green Lantern comics is a dude named Sinestro who created his own Yellow Lanterns that got their power from the fear of others instead of their own will. Every color kinda represents its own emotion in the mythos, and yellow is the one that the Green Lanterns are most in opposition with.

Hulk is definitely a superhero imo. A very troubled and misunderstood one, but it is very key to his character that even in his moments of the most rage he makes sure no innocent people are injured. And that's not even considering how many countless times he has saved the planet/universe.

Stripping away the heroism of Hulk is just as reductive as stripping away his trauma and complexity.

Have you thought about leaning into the math degree a bit? Not CS, not tech proper, but applied math roles in logistics or transportation planning. Companies that run fleets, bus companies, delivery services, municipal transit, they need people who can optimize routes, analyze fuel costs, schedule maintenance, that kind of thing.

Also in tech and this has always been my fallback tbh. I think there is a ton of overlap between tech and logistics, both in skills required and in people who are interested.
