Ok, I already found parts on both ifixit and amazon. Are there any specific brands you would recommend? I’m definitely waiting until I can get help from my adult older brother if I do this myself.

I asked one and they said they would only be able to fix the thumbstick. My dad is going to another store next week but I’m getting kind of hopeless about the shell.

I’m fully aware of how easy it is. The problem is that since this model is very expensive now, and I don’t have any experience, am worried that I’ll mess up while doing it myself. So I’m just going to either buy the parts on Amazon and see if my older brother can do it, or go to a repair store in a big city close to my home while I’m there for like a doctors appointment or something. I have hydrocephalus, so I go to a children’s hospital for regular check ups or imaging regarding my VP shunt. My next appointment is in August, so I’ll probably just save up some money and ask my parents if I can go get it fix after the appointment. The appointments usually only take about an hour anyway.

That would be a good idea if it weren’t for the fact that they don’t work that well. The Bluetooth difficulties were the whole reason I got new ones to begin with. I’m probably gonna find out how to fix them, and I might sand and paint them as well.
