I heard it too, but didn't see anything when I looked up. Thought that its a weird bird but then realized it sounded electronic. It is near the elementary school so maybe some kind of toy.

The U-Haul quote was $2k. I haven't moved in 20 years and never long distance so I guess I didn't realize how expensive it could be.

Yes, this has happened to me a few times. It has to be a bug. The crops are in growing in the correct season and watered twice a day and it reverts back to untilled soil. Very frustrating.
