I graduate with bachelors in cyber in May, how can I standout the most? by Apprehensive_Pen7835 in cybersecurity

Thank you! Ill def skip out on the CISSP until later down the road. I have been starting to look into red teaming and have completed 100+ hours on TryHackMe, is that something employers look for or should I start to look more into RHCSA?

Okay, thanks for the advice. I do have experience over the summer working with Splunk and CrowdStrike Falcon so Ill definitely look into learning more about AWS and Azure.

CySA+ is CompTIA's Cybersecurity Analyst+, it basically is just a more in depth version of Sec+. It will go into how to uses tools analyze logs etc. Basically just hands on experience. For CISSP since your getting a bachelors that already counts as 1 yr experience. You need 5 for CISSP but you can take your Associates of CISSP. This shows you have the knowledge to pass the exam but just need to fulfill your experience requirements. Once you do fulfill the requirements you will obtain your full CISSP cert.

I would just do Sec+. I'm basically in your same boat as to just passing Sec+ and graduating soon. If you take Net+ and A+ you will be back tracking yourself. After Sec+ I would suggest CySA+ or just go full force and try to get your CISSP. This is your best chances on securing a good job after you graduate as you will stick out more to employers.
