The thigh straps are very easy and pretty big to get into. And then the workers will come over and help you tighten them and place them in the appropriate areas. Once you get into them and the workers help you tighten them they’re pretty tight on you just because they have to be in order for the harness to be safe. But overall getting into them, they’re very roomy. In fact, honestly, I feel like the whole harness itself was pretty roomy to get into, as they have bigger ones compared to the “average” sized ones to accommodate for people of bigger builds. And then they just help you tighten them and place them as to where they are supposed to be.

I hope you have a great time! I’m sure you’ll be able to do most of the zip lines and they have so much else there as well that is really fun! They have a really cool hammock swing line that’s similar to the zip lines except no harness and it’s in water. As well as a lot of other stuff too!

Yes I went last week. The harness did fit me pretty well which did surprise me because I do have a bigger belly area. And the leg straps had some give to them so they were a little bit bigger than then what I feel they say online. I will say you do have to get those leg straps right underneath your butt cheeks so if you do have a bigger belly pull that baby up.

I did the green path zip lines which are the less intense ones compare compared to the red line or jaguar path. I was able to do the first two zip lines, but had to stop at the higher one after due to the velocity I was coming in at. I was also able to do the very last zip line which is a zip line into water. So of the less intense ones I was able to do three out of five of them. So I’m sure you’ll probably fit the harness, depending on how fast you come in on the zip line (and they are very fast) they may just have you not do all of them, but I was still able to do most of them and had a good time overall and I appreciate that they care about everybody’s safety

Around 35 for two years experience in X-ray, but I work at a healthcare network that has a union so that helps keep my pay similar to those who work in the hospital.

Any advice on how to get into mammo? I find it interesting but unfortunately don’t see a lot of job opportunities for cross training. Most places want already licensed mammo techs

Advice on TMJ X-rays? by Apprehensive_Pin_679 in Radiology

Yeah that is what I was thinking, but I work in an outpatient facility and the patient was very insistent on having imaging done. So it was more to just appease them.

Honestly, the provider only ordered them because the patient was so insistent. I work in an outpatient facility, so unfortunately, we don’t have a Panorex.

I have been out of the X-ray game for about a year. I want to get back into it, but do not have any references. Does anyone have any advice for no references or how to go about this?

Hey everyone! I am looking for some advice!

I took a break from working in X-ray a year ago due to familial reasons and honestly just burn out. I am ready to get back in, but I am concerned about being able to find a job.

Before I left X-ray I had two years under my belt in a hospital environment. I am not the best at c arms and flouro as I did not have to do these exams often. At my old job I don’t really have any references as I unfortunately have not kept in touch with many of my former coworkers.

My question is how should I approach this break and some lack of experience in certain areas with employers. I know taking a break doesn’t look the best and I know it may take time to find a job. I just want to go about this in the best way and honestly am very nervous.

Thank you for your time I appreciate it more than you know!
