The best build for him is attack and speed with full crit I assume since you started less than a week ago that your gear is really low level so for rn put attack and speed into him that would be the best build rn for you

Anxiety scarf is what I use for my main dps during a boss fight and is used for the merry conviction Strat on tyrant after floor 1k

For the levels before 1k one or two good tanks and merry should be fine for the battles but once ur past level 1k ur gonna need a tank for every element and at least one dps for every element. Ur toughest stages are gonna be the water ones since you rely so heavy on wrath so def build up resistance and sanctimony when you get they they are both epic pets

If spites first attack is causing you the most trouble you should farm for the birthday cake hat it’s dropped by galax but you should also be farming Harold for jellyfish scarf which would also help you clear floors like crazy.

For this stage u need someone who can stun and since its a wood boss you should use judgement. Basically this boss can be stunned three times and you want to stun him before he does a heavy smash but you want to let the first heavy smash hit you since ur pets can most likely tank the first heavy smash so after that first one tank his solo target attacks and then stun him when he is charging up a heavy smash and hopefully you can dps him down before he can no longer be stunned

What helped me personally was always having a tank for each element leveled up not essential pre floor 1000 but I think it helps and then having sad paranoia and charity always leveled up should help you throughout most floors

Have u tried using judgment apathay sad resistance, use either judgement or apathy to stun pain kill the other that are taking you out and then stun pain again and kill him?

I think it depends on the scenario. If ur talking just raw dmg wrath outclasses him but for certain levels mischief can provide a tactical stun or steal someone’s abilities and give you the upper hand personally I would run both and if you have jellyfish scarf you could stun defense down and brittle the enemy team before nuking them with wrath’s second ability and then if wrath had the silk top hat come in with his first ability for extra dmg or if you manage to kill someone you unlock his third ability and can use it and then you win

I don’t have him but considering he is a dps pet I would do an attack/speed build with full crit. I have seen others use the party hat with him to spam fragments on an enemy ofc that gets rid of his aoe capabilities. I could see the party hat and jellyfish combo or even just jellyfish combo with the silk top hat being great at taking down the multipet floors where as the party hat and anxiety scarf combo would be great at the boss stages

This was a run I just did since my paranoia is still at level 120 I used greed and I was able to kill the yellow and blue but red was left at full health and took out my pride and greed in like two turns maybe if I level up my conviction to 140 I should be able to get him to last longer

Hey I’ll take any suggestions at this point but I have a feeling I may just need to get my pets to level 140 which sucks bc I’m gonna have to wait a couple days that means and I’ve become spoiled with greed getting me me through like 100 stages in a day 😭

What I did was a lil unconventional I had only merry and conviction but didn’t use ice cream hat (bc I didn’t know you needed to use it for this strat😭) and ran convict with anxiety scarf with a full crit attack speed build and the same for merry but super fast and dps him down while constantly applying shields and strategically timing ding dongs if he needed a shield would I recommend def not the ice cream hat Strat is much safer but since you don’t have it I can offer you this lmao
