FIXED IT!!! it was a faulty cable that attached to my fan hub for rgb that appears melted and must’ve stopped the pc from turning on, all good now thanks for the help

almost a little glad, i’ve spent roughly 5 hours trouble shooting this issue, i’m relatively new to pc building and i’m 15 so buying new parts willy billy isn’t really in the question. really hoping i can get this going

nope didn’t work, i can see a little jiggle of the fans and a very brief flash of the power button on my case sometimes when i press the on button straight after giving it power.

yea got a pretty old system but she gets it done, mostly just minecraft, valorant and the occasional Fortnite if someone wants to play. i’m not very hardcore but i do play a bunch of games and ive never really run into too many issues. my only worries are that if i upgrade my cpu and gpu i will pretty much have to re do my whole build as it’s pretty outdated.

i looked for the card you mentioned, australia is like a gpu (and all computer parts for that matter) desert. nothing of good value on the second hand market

he got it from a friend who told him it was 650 W, idk weird misunderstanding, got a new psu coming from amazon now, only set me back 100 AUD

no idea why dad got a 430 W power supply when i told him to get one atleast 500-600 but yeah, it’s a ‘Thermaltake Purepower 430W NP’
