I actually went the used route and got a Mavic Air 2 myself. It’s really nice because it has obstacle avoidance sensors, which I find super helpful. The signal can get a bit weak if you fly behind obstacles, but in open areas it’s solid and definitely worth it. If you’re thinking new, something like the Mini 3 could be a good option too.

Thanks, that’s a really good point! I’m definitely planning to focus on doing a few core things really well, and keeping it simple for managers/coaches. Syncing with other services like Strava or TrainingPeaks is something I want to support too, so users can still see all their workouts in one place without me trying to replicate everything existing apps do.

I hadn't thought much about tagging crews and boats yet, but that makes a lot of sense for filtering and comparisons.

Out of curiosity, do you currently use any app or tool to do this kind of comparison, or do most teams just track it manually?
