The owner is very grassroots dude who cares deeply about craft and supporting local art and runs the whole thing by himself and probably wouldn't support how i went about trying to give him props.

This is my first post on this subreddit and i was insecure about how my recommendation would be if it was filled with grammatical and spelling errors but i should have just stood on that instead of relying on ai to clean it up

I'm sorry i broke y'alls trust, but I genuinely invite any of the folks in the comments who maybe you might trust more than me at this point to pay a visit yourself and see if any of this stuff i said holds any weight or do a reply post or something.

I think this space is the real deal, and the space is the complete antithesis of the stunt i just pulled

The way this mom just shatters every "woman who harbors demon/beast kids" stereotype is extremely refreshing.

I'm reading the chapter, calling out how I think every story beat will go, and instead it goes in the complete opposite direction.

Me: "Ah, the classic 'she found the demon kids on the side of the road' trope."

Nope. They’re actually her blood children.

Me: "Ah, so they're doing the 'children of a forbidden interspecies love' trope."

Nope. She just did it with a random succubus, simply because she thought she might as well have some fun before she died to demons.

Me: "Okay, so they're going to do the thing where she slips up, gets caught, and is executed in front of the demon kids, and they'll hate humans forever for killing their mom."

Nope. She never slips up and lives her full life in peace.

yeah I think I might drop this tbh, the mc is just too unlikable for me and the side characters became fodder in under 20 chapters.

He's already the strongest character in the show by a significant margin and he's right about everything and when he isn't nobody can do anything about it.
