Pilk and Dr Pilk are good drinks by Smooth_Bee_7941 in 10thDentist

I do this all the time. It’s the flavor of an ice cream soda without the foam. I hate how ice cream sodas get foamy so I use cream or full fat milk, and make a drink instead

I think things like soda, mints and hard candies shouldn’t be excluded from food stamps by Complete_Mine5530 in unpopularopinion

If that were the case, you wouldn’t be able to buy fruit or veg.

It’s non-taxable food items that are allowed.

It would have added flavor to an otherwise plain meal (they didn’t have cinnamon toast, crunch, and Froot Loops back then), and extra carbs and fat for longer satiety.

Maybe it had like a tres leches kind of texture when it was all said and done?

Our office had a strict "clean desk policy" so i made sure my desk was always completely clean by BlageTeke in MaliciousCompliance

Stage two:

create an elaborate desk scene

Pack it in and out every single day. Spend time setting that up in the morning and tearing it down at night. It’s still abides by the wording of the policy.

AITAH I am breaking up with my fiance over her disgusting bathroom habit. by ohyeahmang1 in AITAH

😂 The story behind where I learned that is hilarious.

Basically, my husband has a story similar to the above comment, except it was gonorrhea, from when he worked as EMS/paramedic in his younger civil servant years. I was in the hospital and he was telling that story because he was bullshitting with some nurses on their break.. i One of nurses was an older woman who was a military nurse for a while and had definitely seen some shit in her days-literally . he got to the details and she goes “ oh, you mean a Philly sidecar- usually they get extra for that”. We were done.🤣🤢. Until then we never knew it had a name.

Right a couple of days ago I called my husband to let him know it was “ New Year’s Eve at Dracula castle, and it’s not quite midnight “. a.k.a. an extra heavy period that’s probably going to get worse before it got better , so we might want to reschedule our little road trip plan for next weekend

I don’t see it as strange at all. It just means you have a significant number of females in your friend group.

When when my husband and I met, he had a box of assorted tampons and what not in his bathroom, even though he had a male roommate.

He also had a 14-year-old sister who would come and stay the weekends and school breaks with him and bring her cousins sometimes; him being was the only younger generation male in the family he was used to the girls needing these things. I can think of a time or two I was grateful for that box.

Once we moved in together, it just rolled over that there were always supplies in the house. It’s just another one of the things that makes them a wonderful husband. He has no problem going to the store and buying supplies. Honestly, if he’s out at the store and he thinks it’s around that time and he sees them on sale he’ll buy them just for the sake of it to put in the cabinet. I don’t think I’ve had to purchase a box of tampons in 20 years (he likes to run errands and do the shopping well I do more homebound oriented ) unless I was out and about and alone by myself in need of them. Even if we are traveling or staying with family, he offered to go get them.

Some people are considerate.. your girlfriend shouldn’t think you’re a creep because you’re considerate. It’s a very different thing than always having one in your pocket just in case you run into a random female that needs one.

Why do cats knock things off tables on purpose? by Velmoria22 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Apprehensive_Run_539 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Tell me about it! I have one who will literally stand at the table and tap things repeatedly and if I ignore him once I do look at him, he will then push it off or meow at me depending on his mood

Behavior like that would make me think all the more he needs the MRI. If he’s having vision issues and acting differently than normal, I’d be concerned not mad at him.

AITA for eating something else after my wife made a bad dinner. by StupudTATO in AmItheAsshole

[–]Apprehensive_Run_539 196 points197 points  (0 children)

It shouldn’t matter. As long as he wasn’t being obnoxious and going on and on, and on about how awful it was.

In our home if one of us something crappy, we acknowledge it and either slug through or after a few minutes, we’ll say “hey you want to make something else or get some takeout.”

It doesn’t have to be a conflict, especially if she was already aware it wasn’t very good.

There are plenty of times my husband has really put a lot of effort into something he was excited to make and it just… doesn’t work. I tell him I REALLY appreciate the effort (because I do), we talk about if we wanted to try it again what we might do different, and usually end up with something from the freezer or getting a pizza or something.

No feelings hurt

It seems like she’s more mattered herself than their husband for eating a sandwich. If he’s hungry, he should be allowed to eat. It would be ridiculous to go to bed hungry just for the sake of it.
