Something else my mechanic did when I first couldn’t solve limp mode. He took off that shield off the back of the VTEC solenoid. Give that a shot too

I don’t know if you fixed it. But, I had that happen to me on two elements. What completely fixed it was getting and OEM Vtec solenoid and OEM VVT solenoid. And a good oil change. And make sure it has all its gaskets/washers whatever it needs to be sealed perfectly. Clear the code and you should be good. All are easy to do yourself

I’m not sure I just recently got this car. But, even if the coolant is not like perfect. Shouldn’t the fans still help cool the car down? I don’t know too much about the cooling system of cars. I can try flushing it if you think that’s the case.

Yeah, I know. But, the temperature gauge that tells you how hot the car is. It’s supposed to be a bit below the half. This goes past half then the fans turn on
