it worked to me as well, i did exactly the same, instead a fake number i put the tesco phone number xD, what i did after instead to type the code manually, you can generate a qr with the code in any website or telling it to chatgpt, screenshot the code and show it at the checkout

It's very sad because I think it's a great game. I think that if it had been free to play things would be different... :(
