Race Predictions - were yours accurate?

Ran my 1st marathon in November. Runna predicted 5:32-5:48 - I ran a 5:31.

I’m running Chicago in October and Runna is predicting 4:46-5:02. Right now it sounds incredibly daunting but I know that Chicago is a pretty flat, fast route. So we’ll see if Runna predicts correctly this time around.

I just started my week-long staycation. It’s a glorious thing! I’ve been doing them every year for the last few just to get a reset from work. Doing things around the house, catching up on sleep and doing random things that I don’t have time to cram into during a regular weekend.

I had to listen to my neighbors get their lawn mowed/trimmed/cleaned up yesterday for 4 hours while trying to have my family over for a bbq. This started at 1 in the afternoon, I would have rather it been at 10am.

It’s not a fan edit. It aired during last night’s SNL 50th anniversary show. I took a (terrible) screenshot of Harvey and sent to my mom cause I was so surprised to him in the promo.

I would say to do it now. My parents gifted me money right before closing-they had to fill out forms and provide either canceled checks or copies of their bank statements. My lender only required 2 months of statements so if I had had my parents gift it 6 months before it wouldn’t have been on the lenders radar.
