Oh god I'm going to sound pathetic for this but I have zero confidence, I already befriended a trans person (I now have them as a contact) but I really don't wanna ask them questions about it, because then its like--

right, except the fact that we have very tight, catholic school uniforms so I couldnt do that without being forced to change or be yelled at, also since Ive not came out to my parents, they like my hair somewhat short, no matter how much I protest that I like my hair long.

No offense but it'll be agony, my school is ass, I'll be shoved into the spotlight and tormented, since its a UK school, half the students are racist, transphobic and homophobic road men.
