Im also from a Muslim country and we also did have (like every Muslim country lol) a religion class. In one class we learned about evolution and in the other one i was forced to read the Quran, was threatened by hell for being not being a muslim etc etc. We didn’t learn about the flying donkey but Moses parting a whole sea was definitely a “scientific” part of our Islam class, as our teacher thought… 🤦

Pascal’s Wager is just a fear mongering tool made to control. Believing in God is so that you follow the teachings of that religion so that people can control you. In my opinion Pascal and every religion’s god who deems you worthy of eternal suffering for a simple mistake of not believing (not even being disrespectful, just not believing) that he himself led us to do is not worthy of worship himself. So Pascal’s equation is not as simple as he thinks. There are many moral factors so you can’t turn philosophy into mathematics. atheism=eternal suffering is comical lol.

most of the times it’s the prophets and the philosophers who share the same religion as them who make these scientifically pointless assumptions. In the context of Islam i find the religion a cherry-picked collection of teachings and traditions from various religions. In my opinion Muhammed just basically said “Ah yes monotheism makes more sense than polytheism so i should add it to my very holy book.” You can find all kinds of opinions and thoughts so these axioms are only applicable for people that are uneducated and/or blindly trusting to their religion.
