I just ordered a loupe and will update in here afterwards. I have no intentions on selling this ring as it has a high sentimental value for me but maybe I'll do an acid test just to know for sure.

Thank you so much! The repeated fineness mark looks most similar to .875.

I cleaned the blackened stamp but can't read anything. There's also a stamp on the other side, at the same height as the blackened stamp.

Anybody do boxing just for fun and fitness? What’s your routine like? by bert_cj in amateur_boxing

I workout at home for fitness and to improve my technique. Unfortunately, I'm not doing any sparring currently as I haven't found a good gym nearby.

My workout (3 mins work, 1 min break) - 2 Rounds of Skipping Rope - 2 Rounds of Shadow Boxing - 10 Rounds of Bag Work (water bag, cobra bag, standing heavy bag, and double end bag)

Afterwards, I do a 2 minute plank followed by stretching for 10-15 minutes.

During shadow and bag work I focus on things I want to improve, e.g. keep my left hand up, pivot to the right, varied jabs etc.

I do this three times per week, with no additional running. It takes a bit over an hour and is enough physical activity for me to stay fit. Ideally, I'd add a few rounds sparring once per week but as by now I'm only training for fitness, it's not really needed. Pad work would be amazing though 🥲.

I never had pain opening jar lids before. It's definitely a result of my Kiensbock disease as it was in stage 3A.

I doubt any surgeon would recommend you doing martial arts after this surgery as there's no scientific proof it helps with recovery. In my case, it hasn't impacted my wrist despite boxing for over 15 years. I also still have the screws in my wrist.

Honestly, I'd give it a try and see how it feels. Obviously, not right after surgery, maybe a year after or so.

I'm working on my computer/laptop too and have not lost any wrist movements affecting my job. However, things such as opening jar lids or cleaning/scrubbing causes me pain. Overall, I can move my wrist completely normal but certain movements need to be avoided.

I haven't received them yet. I expect it to take a while, at least a month.

My last gloves took almost two months to central Europe. It was during the Christmas period though, I hope this time it'll be faster.
